Fellowship of college of Physicians & Surgeon

The Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons is shortened to FCPS. This medical certification is provided by Mumbai, India’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. For PG medical education, career advancement, and medical research, FCPS is available. Among other goals, this fellowship programme seeks to improve the healthcare industry in remote and rural areas. It is offered by both public and commercial institutions that meet the same quality standards, and it takes three years to finish.

FCPS Medicine’s admissions procedure

The new regulations stated that admission would be determined solely by the results of the NEET exam. The websites of FCPS and CPS will have notices about admissions posted.
A centralised online admissions system for the entire state is called the CPS/FCPS Admission System. The only organisation in charge of online CPS admission is DMER Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria for FCPS Medicine

  • A candidate who has passed the last M.B.B.S. or comparable exam from a medical college accredited by the Medical Council of India.
  • It is necessary for a candidate to have obtained a University Internship Completion Certificate after completing the one-year required internship.
  • It is important for candidates who have taken the NEET-PG exam to understand that, during the early stages of central counselling, only those who are eligible for the NEET will be given consideration for admission. The central government or the relevant state government will issue orders regarding the admission of ineligible candidates or the lowering of the NEET score for eligibility if seats remain unfilled.
  • A permanent registration certificate from the state’s medical council is required of candidates at the time of enrollment.
  • It is necessary for the “Foreign Medical Graduates” to have cleared the eligibility or qualifying exam given by the NBE in New Delhi.
  • A candidate for a postgraduate seat in Maharashtra at a corporation, government, or other local body must meet the above criteria in addition to having completed their MBBS from any Maharashtran institution or university. Applicants are not eligible for admission to government, corporate, or local body-run institutions in Maharashtra (aided institutions) if they completed their MBBS outside of the state.
